Hydro Jetting

Septic & Sewer

What is Hydro Jetting?

Hydro jetting is a procedure that uses pressurized water at the end of a septic jetting line to clean out your septic lines and laterals. The hydro jet uses pressurized water to propel through your lines and clogs automatically. The line is manually removed from your septic lines, pulling back with it any waste product or material that has clogged the lines. Low-pressure hydro jetting is safe for septic lines, which are normally constructed of a light material such as PVC.

Low-Pressure Hydro Jetting

If you have slow drain issues, Statewide Environmental Services LLC technicians will evaluate your system to determine if low- pressure hydro jetting is the right solution. When your septic tank is not cleaned out on a regular basis (every 1-3 years, based on household size and usage), the tank cannot properly filter sludge so it escapes into your septic drain field. The sludge then clogs the holes in your septic drain field lines, preventing water from getting out of the pipes and into the soil.

Hydro jetting aids in resolving a number of common drainage problems. It can successfully remove debris that accumulates in laterals and piping due to hair, soap residue, grease and more. Additionally, it can resolve tree root infiltration and mineral and scale buildup in septic and sewer drains. Hydro jetting achieves a comprehensive cleaning of your pipes.

Line snaking is another service offered by Statewide Environmental Services LLC, mostly in connection with root infiltration on cast iron. Our technicians insert a metal cable (sewer snake) with a site-specific cutting edge into the clogged line to cut through material impeding the flow. Once the line is cleared, the cable is retracted and your line is flushed thoroughly to ensure proper flow.
